It’s OK but ….
For a notebook app that is fairly pricey and one that has been around for over a year, there are a number of areas that are very weak. These are things that should have been corrected in this update. For example:
Drag and Drop still acts like Option Drag & Drop. It leaves the original text in place.
When you “tab” at the start of a paragraph, the entire paragraph is indented rather than just the first line.
Grammar and syntax correction is implemented but not optional. Unless you are a touch-typist and are watching the text appear on-screen, you can end up with “corrections” that you did not want and do not even know about.
The Menu command "Convert from Plain Text to Formatted Document" sometimes changes a whole paragraph to upper case.
You cannot continue typing or re-select while the text colour palette is open … frustrating and a waste of time.
You cannot use “Transformations” to change text to Upper or Lower case.
You cannot use System Preferences to define shortcut keys for common menu actions.
You cannot select default tabs for a document. In fact there is no ruler to allow tab selection.
These are commonly used functions that one would expect to find (or at least to work properly) in the most basic of text editors.
The overall concept is good … The implementation leaves much to be desired.
